It is bounded on the south by the James River and its northern border is usually considered to be Broad Street. The area that borders Goochalnd is sometimes referred to as the "Far West End." The area begins the transition from city blocks and linear streets to more of a suburban feel. Interstate 64 serves the entier West End and many consider it to be the natural divider between The West End and Glen Allen. Prominent areas include Tuckahoe, the River Road Corridor, Westham or Westhampton and Willow Lawn. Short Pump is also considered by many to be a part of the west end. |
